You know when you have never heard of something before then you hear of it and suddenly you hear it all the time? That’s what has happened with my currently coveting item – the Patsha boot. The simple, modern ankle boot by Isabel Marant. I am obsessed and absolutely desperate for the leopard print calfs hair version and they are sold out everywhere in my size. So of course I have set up an alert on Vestaire collective and will continue to browse google in the hopes something changes. In the meantime I wanted to share how gorgeous these boots are with you and indulge in some Isabel Marant inspo pictures. And if you happen to own a pair of these in a size 41 and feel like selling them on – I would love you forever!

Whilst Winter is all about throwing on a chunky knit and keeping warm whose to say you can’t still play around with a little lace. There is something so alluring and strangely acceptable about a little black lace peeping out of your sweater. In those Summer months lace underwear can look a little too OTT but paired with oversized knits, boyfriend jeans and even trainers, it takes on a new personality and brings the whole scruffy but sexy look together. I have ordered a super cute teddie from Missguided which I put on my Instagram but there are plenty of tops that have lace built into them on the highstreet now. I have put three of my favourites below as well as my usual inspo shots.

I would love to hear from you.

Thank you,

I love it when you stumble across something that you just love! When you dash into a cafe to get out of the rain and find a new favourite coffee spot, it’s that unexpected rush of joy. I had that when I discovered The Cult & Classic and have to share this gem of a store with you.

My style is definitely a mix of cult and classic, I love those statement pieces that are so easily recognisable, the Bella Freud sweaters, Marc Jacobs sneakers, that Eugenie Kim brimmed hat that was everywhere! And to mix these with classic pieces, Current/Elliot jeans perfectly cut, luxurious Olivia Von Halle pyjamas – heaven.

So whilst I put together my own personal wishlist of luxury take a look at these amazing finds that are quite literally the perfect Christmas gifts!

Bella Freud 1970 sweater £280

This beauty is a dream present, it’s a cult sweater that can transform a pair of jeans from every-day to wow. Firmly on my wishlist.

Joseph cashmere scarf £295

Timeless and elegant, a cashmere scarf will be a forever scarf.

Happy shopping! Love to know what you think of the store and if you buy anything…

Who doesn’t love a breton stripe? Blue, black, red… a breton stripe top is an essential wardrobe staple, it is so easy to wear dressed down or styled up. It is also a piece that’s definitely worth investing in as a good cut and a heavy fabric make all the difference. Saying that my wardrobe consists of high-end and budget, including a new Zara t-shirt material version you can get here. But my absolute favourite is an old Gant heavy cotton version that rolls at the sleeves ‘just-so’. This is their current version here and the Jcrew versions were amazing but sold out here maybe you can find one on eBay – but this version here is gorgeous too. Boden also does a great version here but I would definitely by a size or two up to get the oversized look and roll up those sleeves.

I love to wear mine with leopard print, there’s something about the two prints clashing that gives the stripes more of an edge. Mix with leather, khaki or a bright blue denim to really rock the look! Hope the inspo images below will help with the styling…

Thank you,

As a Summer girl through and through I feel naked without a tan, not a just stepped off the beach tan, but a glow, enough to make my lack of sleep and gin soaked skin look more alive. I have been a huge fan of the Vita Liberata body tan for months now following an Instagram tip-off from the amazing Allesandra Steinherr. If you don’t follow her already you really should, she is the beauty gospel and has so many amazing hints and tips with her #askalex here is her website. So she has also been praising the Sisley hydrating facial self tan but with such a hefty price tag I couldn’t justify it. Then, on a grey and dreary Wednesday morning, a bag of marmite rice cakes flung across the beauty hall floor in the midst of a tantrum (toddler not me) I caved and bought it. But boy am I glad I did!

I have very dehydrated skin and am constantly, perhaps to its detriment, piling on masks and night creams so if I am using a cream in the day, even for self-tan it needs to be hydrating and this is beautifully hydrating. My skin feels soft and looks plumper. The tan is subtle and sun-kissed and no nasty smell. You only need to use twice a week, across your whole face and down your neck. Sisley describes it as beautifying your complexion and perfecting your skin. My skin doesn’t look perfect, more ‘beautiful’ perhaps, but naturally tanned yes. The tan is even, and lasts even using my Clarisonic each evening.

I will be monitoring how long one bottle lasts before I commit to re-purchasing but I hope it lasts… this is one product I want to keep in my little beauty arsenal!
