With the arrival of Autumn I have fully embraced the knit – think I may have worn one almost every day the past few few weeks in some form or another. But my latest purchase was of the longer variety – a gorgeously soft luxurious roll neck jumper dress that literally feels like like heaven to wear. It hides a multitude of sins and I love wearing it with just my underwear so I don’t overheat. Bit risqué? It would look fab paired with leather/pleather leggings or skinny jeans.
I love having that flash of bare ankle but sure this will change when the first frost appears. If you’re looking for a dress for day and night – choose a slightly shorter version with heels and pair with a lace slip to get the contrast detail and create a glamorous evening look (one of my inspo ladies does this perfectly below).

This H&M version is an absolute bargain at £29.99 – it’s a little more structured and fitted than my Urban Outfitters one and granted not as soft due to the knit so best to wear something against your skin underneath.
