The Shopping Edit: Summer Days

Here in London we have finally seen Summer arrive and what a relief. I can wear my favourite cut-offs without feeling like a loon. And this week I received a very exciting package from Dune London with these beautiful tan suede loafers inside. Totally in love with them,  soft, classic, and leg-extending. They’re from the new AW16 collection which is trickling into stores and online at the moment. These are the perfect Summer purchase, they’ll see you through the last of the Summer weather and will look great with jeans for Autumn and Winter.

For those that follow me on Instagram you might have seen I managed to get my hands on my own mums little piece of gingham. She bought this top for just £16 from Tu clothing at Sainsburys. Its so lightweight and soft and at that price its perfect to throw in with your weekly shop. No one will ever know.

These H&M trousers were a spur of the moment buy when I spotted them on a mannequin in the window I had to have them. They’re almost see-through so do not bend over! But it means they’re perfect for sticky humid weather when you don’t want to have your legs out. Ideal buy for holidays and travelling.

H&M £14.99

A white vest is a Summer wardrobe staple, unfortunately I’m not very good at keeping mine white, too much fake tan and I am a bit of a messy eater (shameful) so I do usually buy a new one each year. I wear them in the Winter under shirts and cardigans too. This was just £4.99 at Zara and has a very casual frayed edge seam to it.

And finally – the dress that makes me feel like a queen. Mango – crushed velvet – pink. Says it all. Love it! Add converse and hit the festivals, and sandals and hit the beach. Careful not to dress it up too much I much prefer playing it down with messy hair and a don’t care attitude.
