The Shopping Edit: Highstreet Heroes

The Shopping Edit: Highstreet Heroes

It’s Friday and time for my weekly confession…  this week I popped to the local highstreet to look at the new season offers and the usual heroes Zara and H&M came up trumps.

The first purchase is this striped dress which I bought thinking of Summer, its super relaxed with mid-length sleeves and a baggy fit. Perfect with a belt and boots, or loose with heels and some some jewellery in the evening.

Zara dress

I am wearing a belt almost every day at the moment, so easy to style with jeans a t-shirt and a pair of boots to add a bit of an edge to a casual look. This belt is from Topshop and I love the stud detail with the cowboy western feel it has.

Then looking through the unattractive L.O.G.G. section of H&M again amongst the fleeces and logo hoodies I found this ‘premium quality’ natural linen striped top. It is very lightweight and super soft. I bought it in a large to be super baggy and hang in all the right places. Its also pretty long so easy to tuck up into your jeans.

H&M top

These gorgeous lace detail trousers came through on an H&M mailer (again why do I get mailers – they are a tease when I am supposed to be working!)… but when I clicked through they had completely sold out. So a quick call to the lovely H&M Scottish helpline and I tracked down a pair in my local store. I also found out that the online stock is replenished every Thursday, so worth a check on a Thursday morning if there’s something you’re after …

And there you have it… as Miss Bradshaw said – I like my money right where I can see it… hanging in my closet!

Love to hear from you…

Love,

Vx
